Using RuneMarket

These terms apply to runemarket.app and its account, research and community features. By using RuneMarket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

RuneMarket is an independent fan project for Old School RuneScape market research. It does not execute Grand Exchange trades, access your game account or act on Jagex's behalf. You remain responsible for following the game's rules and any rules that apply to you.

Prices and estimates

Prices and volumes reflect trades reported to the OSRS Wiki, which may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. They do not represent a full order book, current listed offers or a promise that an order will fill.

Flip rankings, alchemy plans, tax calculations and projected returns are research estimates. Prices, fees, buy limits and game mechanics can change. Verify relevant values in-game before committing GP. RuneMarket does not guarantee a price, profit, trading result or uninterrupted alert delivery.

Your account

Provide information you are entitled to use and keep your RuneMarket password private. Never reuse or submit your RuneScape password. You are responsible for activity through your account and should report suspected unauthorized access through Contact us.

Email is optional for an account. Recovery without email relies on the security question and answer you saved, so choose an answer that others cannot guess. Recovery attempts may be limited to protect accounts. Signed-in users can request account deletion; requests are reviewed before processing.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another user's account or private information, bypass access controls, interfere with the website, overwhelm its services or distribute malicious content. Do not use support tickets or suggestions for spam, threats, harassment or unlawful material.

Public access to research tools does not grant unrestricted access to internal APIs, databases or other users' saved data. We may apply request limits, restrict abusive activity, moderate submissions or suspend accounts to protect the service and its users.

Support and community submissions

Submit only material you have the right to share. Suggestions may be visible to other users who can access that area. Support requests are private to their requester and authorized operators. Guest tickets require a contact email; access to their ticket history is remembered in the submitting browser.

You allow RuneMarket to store, display, review and respond to your submissions as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not include passwords, security answers, payment-card details or another person's private information. Sending a suggestion does not guarantee that it will be implemented.

Names, assets and ownership

RuneMarket's original branding and website material belong to its operator or the relevant licensors. Third-party data and assets retain their respective owners' rights and applicable licenses.

RuneMarket is independently operated and is not endorsed, maintained or affiliated with Jagex Limited. RuneScape, OSRS and associated game names and assets belong to Jagex Limited and their respective rights holders. These terms do not grant a license to Jagex's intellectual property.

Optional contributions

Supporting RuneMarket through Ko-fi is optional and does not buy game currency, an investment, guaranteed features or trading returns. The external payment service's terms apply to contributions and payment processing. Any specific benefit must be stated separately; contributing does not grant administrative access.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep RuneMarket useful and accurate, but the service is provided as available. Features can change, and outages or data errors can occur. Keep your own copy of important saved information using the available export tools.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RuneMarket's operator is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on reported prices, estimates, third-party services or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. Review the date at the top and the public Changelog for published product updates. Contact us with questions about these terms, a privacy request or an account issue. Guests can submit a ticket using a contact email; signed-in users do not need to add email.
